The Crew 2 VFX Reel

  I wanted to show some stuff i made at Ubisoft, mainly for "vanities" (smokes and nitro skins that players can apply on their car) but there is some missions VFX at the end too. Every textures is generated with Houdini or handdrawn/animated with photoshop or Blender. Particles and ribbons are done with a custom inhouse engine. Lots of fun :)

Realtime VFX

Here is my first time participation for sketch#50 of  realtimevfx.com . Theme was area effect, i went with a basic lightning attack. Simple cloud mesh with noise in opacity  and a sphere mask for the emissive effect and some 2d animated flipbooks.

Lunchbreak sketches with Unreal Engine 4.

For the explosion i was trying to do an explosion without flipbooks and only handpainted textures. 

The electric shockwave is 3 differents 2d animated flipbooks (4*4) channel packed into one texture.

 

Very basic fire projectile, done with flipbooks  (1 for fire and 1 for smoke). Fake sixpoint lighting on the smoke. Done in ue4 with niagara.
